Jim Resha, MBA CCIM

Senior Vice President, Sperry Commercial Chair, Sperry National Retail & Industrial Groups Team Leader, The Resha Group

Jim Resha has spent 42 years helping commercial real estate owners make better capital decisions. He leads The Resha Group at Sperry Commercial, which has closed 891 transactions totaling more than $925 million since 2004. In 2025, Sperry Commercial named him Broker of the Year.

Most of Jim's work starts with one question: should this owner hold, sell, refinance, exchange, or reposition the asset? He advises private investors, family offices, and private equity groups that own retail, industrial, and office properties across Orange County and Southern California. Using The Resha Group Investment Decision Framework™, he gives each client a clear strategy before any conversation about price, marketing, or buyers.

As Chief Investment Strategist at 1880 Capital, Jim also invests as a principal. He understands how buyers underwrite risk, evaluate income, and compare opportunities, and he brings that view to every owner he advises.

Earlier in his career, Jim founded two commercial real estate firms. As founder and CEO of P-R Properties, Inc., he oversaw sales, leasing, development, and management of more than 1.5 million square feet of industrial property, developed and leased more than 1 million square feet of industrial buildings, and led development of a 50-acre industrial park. In 2004, he and Heather Francine launched Integrity Real Estate and Investment Group, Inc., the foundation of what is now The Resha Group.
